We are delighted to welcome Dr. Zhenshuai Wei to the RCALS team as a postdoctoral fellow. Dr. Wei received his Ph.D. in Optical Engineering from Shandong University in 2025. His doctoral research focused on high-gain composite fiber fabrication, single-frequency laser generation and amplification, and nonlinear frequency conversion.

“Exploring the applications of hollow-core fibers in new scenarios is of great scientific interest,” said Dr. Wei.

“For example, integrating hollow-core fibers with single-frequency lasers may spark new scientific insights and holds significant potential for breakthrough innovations.”

Dr. Wei further noted: “RCALS not only provides world-class research facilities but also brings together an outstanding team of mentors. It is a rare and invaluable opportunity to pursue frontier research on such a high-level platform and to collaborate with excellent colleagues. I am very much looking conducting research here and working with the team to advance optical technology.
