Dr. Vikas Kumar

Vikas Kumar completed his Ph.D. in terahertz fiber optics from the department of physics, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, New Delhi. Prior to that he has completed his B.Sc. (H) and M.Sc. in Electronic Science stream from Delhi University, India in 2014 and 2016, respectively. He has worked on long-period fiber grating-based sensors in masters and joined the department of physics, Indian Institute of technology in 2016; since then has been working on terahertz fiber optics and photonics. Vikas has designed and studied suitable THz microstructured waveguides and various devices based on them for various suitable applications and implemented various suitable numerical calculations.  He has published potential research works in various reputable journals and at conference proceedings.
