Prof. Jiapeng Huang

Jiapeng Huang is a current a research fellow at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He obtain his master degree at Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (Germany) in 2014, major in advanced optics technologies. From 2014-2021, he worked as the lab engineer in the fibre fabrication team in Max-Planck Institute for the Science of Light (MPL, Germany). He obtained his doctor degree in 2020 at the MPL. His research interests focus on soft-glass Photonic Crystal Fibers (PCFs) fabrications, high-power ultrafast mid-IR fibre laser and mid-IR fibre sensors.
