▪曾星琳于2018年获得北京邮电大学博士学位。2016年至2017年期间,他作为访问博士生赴波士顿大学Siddharth Ramachandran教授课题组交流学习。博士毕业后,他于2018年至2019年在香港大学从事博士后研究。2019年至2025年,他在德国马克斯·普朗克光学研究所罗素分部和Stiller研究组担任博士后研究员,后晋升为资深研究员。2025年,他加入中国科学院上海光学精密机械研究所(SIOM),任全职副研究员、副教授,同时担任罗素先进光波科学中心(RCALS)独立PI。
▪ 他在光学领域期刊发表论文11篇,包括《Science Advances》《Laser & Photonics Reviews》《Photonics Research》等。在国际光学会议上作报告20余次,包括欧洲光通信会议(ECOC)特邀报告,以及CLEO-US和FiO/LS会议的4篇PDP论文(post-deadline paper,在截稿日期之后被接收的论文)。他是2025年光博会布里渊研讨会的联合主席,并入围美国光学学会(Optica)厉鼎毅创新奖。此外,他还担任德国科学基金会(DFG)项目的共同项目负责人。
▪ 研究领域涵盖非线性光纤光学、布里渊散射、手性光子晶体光纤、光学涡旋及奇点光学。
